Our goal in donating money is to contribute a small part to ending discrimination and violence against women.
That is why we initially chose a large organisation with a global scope with TERRE DES FEMMES. However, donating to a good cause can be a double edged sword: since donating, we have continued to discuss and review our actions internally and we have cooperatively agreed that, despite having accomplished a lot for women’s rights in the past 40 years, TERRE DE FEMMES also hold some views, which do not reflect the values of all people involved in the making of our kompilat eins release.
We therefore decided to donate the revenue generated from this release to a different and democratically chosen women’s rights organisation from now on and we will continue to choose our causes to donate to in a democratic fashion in the future as well.
